Tempeh

The Power of Tempeh

A dense cake made from fermented whole soybeans, offering a nutty flavor and high protein and fiber content.

Tempeh is a traditional Indonesian food made from fermented soybeans. The fermentation process binds the soybeans into a dense, firm cake with a nutty, earthier flavor than tofu.

Because it uses the whole soybean, tempeh is packed with fiber and protein. It holds its shape extremely well during cooking, making it great for stir-fries, grilling, or slicing into hearty ‘bacon’ strips.
